TERMS & CONDITIONS
On all pages of this site, any mention of us, we, Gypsy Tanzania Tours, Gypsy Tours and Safaris, Gypsy Tanzania Tours or the Company refers to Gypsy Tours and Safaris Limited.
The following items are included in quoted programs: all accommodations and activities as noted in the itinerary; meals as specified; guided sightseeing as noted in the itinerary; relevant park, rescue, and entrance fees; airport transfers as noted in the itinerary; equipment as noted in the invoice; all government taxes.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICES
The following items are not included in trip prices: your health and travel insurance; international or internal airfare unless otherwise noted; costs associated with passports or entry visas; airport departure taxes; excess baggage charges; gratuities; meals other than specified in the itinerary or invoice; sightseeing and game drives not included in the itinerary; and personal expenses such as laundry, email, and telephone charges.
Gratuities are not included for drivers, guides, cooks, porters, or camp staff. Gratuities are at the traveler's discretion and should meet the level of satisfaction with the service received. Recommended tipping guidelines are provided in pre-trip information.
ITINERARIES AND ACCOMMODATIONS
Itinerary Accommodations (hotel, camp, or campsite) and arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but changes may occur after the final itinerary has been issued. We reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs, tariffs and taxes, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets.
PAYMENTS
NOTE: Payments will be required through Bank Wire Transfer or online payment to our company account via credit or debit cards (American Express, Visas, Mastercards).
Reservation: For Kilimanjaro and camping safaris - a 20% deposit is required at time of booking to hold your reservation. While for Lodge and tented camp safaris - a 50% deposit is required at time of booking to hold your reservation, this is due to the fact that lodges and tented camps on safari are booked quickly, so we need to reserve those before they fill up. However, sometimes we do have space last minute as well.
PLEASE NOTE: DON’T ACCEPT SENDING YOUR SAFARI PAYMENT TO A PERSONAL/AN INDIVIDUAL BANK ACCOUNT
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY TRIP?
Upon receipt of written cancellation by any member of the tour indicated on this reservation 30 days or longer prior to departure, 20% of the reservation of the canceling party will be retained by Gypsy Tanzania Tours and the balance of the package price refunded.
If a cancellation is received at least 14 days and up to 29 days prior to departure, 50% of the package price will be retained by Gypsy Tanzania Tours.
If a cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to departure, 100% of the total package price will be retained by Gypsy Tanzania Tours and all outstanding payment will become payable immediately.
Should the canceling party be able to find a replacement for themselves no less than 14 days prior to departure, no retention of funds will take place.
We highly recommend travel insurance to cover any cancellation fees.
Kindly Note: Our trips are never canceled by Gypsy Tanzania Tours, but you may have to pay more if your group falls below a certain group size.
